64T Register of approved containers and collection points
The scheme coordinator must maintain a register of approved containers and collection points.
The register must contain the following details for each approved container:
a description of the container, including the following:
the kind of container;
its size, by volume;
the material it is made of;
the manufacturer;
the barcode;
the date the container approval for the container was given;
if the container approval for the container was given under a corresponding law of a State—the State;
if the container approval for the container has ended—the date the approval ended;
any conditions of the approval.
The register must include the following in relation to each collection point:
the location;
the opening hours;
the name of the collection point operator;
the kind of containers that can be redeemed there.
The register may contain anything else prescribed by regulation.
The register—
may be kept in any form, including electronically, that the scheme coordinator decides; but
must be accessible by the public and searchable.
