20 Provision of false information
An operator commits an offence if:
(a)
the operator gives information to an authorised person; and
(b)
the operator does so reckless as to whether that information is false or misleading in a material particular.
Penalty: 50 penalty units.
Note 1:
If the operator is a body corporate, the maximum penalty that may be imposed is 250 penalty units (see subsection 4B(3) of the Crimes Act 1914).
