29 Giving information and documents to supporters
Any information or document that is required or authorised under, or for the purposes of, this Act (other than Part 5 of Chapter 4 of this Act) to be given to an individual must also be given to the following persons:
if the individual has consented to information or documents being given to a supporter of the individual—that supporter;
regardless of whether the individual has consented—to a supporter of the individual if the supporter is a person covered by subsection 28(2).
A person who receives information under subsection (1) may only use the information:
under, or for the purposes of, this Act; and
if the person is a person covered by subsection 28(2)—in a manner that is consistent with the person’s duties and obligations as such a person.
