57 System Governor must decide whether to make determination
(1)
The System Governor must consider the application for access to funded aged care services and decide whether to make an eligibility determination for an aged care needs assessment for the individual.
(2)
The decision must be made within the period prescribed by the rules.
(3)
If the System Governor decides not to make a determination under subsection (1), the individual’s application for access to funded aged care services is taken to be withdrawn.
