15 Functions and powers of the Board
The functions of the Board are:
to ensure the proper, efficient and effective performance of the APVMA’s functions; and
to determine objectives, strategies and policies to be followed by the APVMA; and
to do anything incidental to or conducive to the performance of the functions referred to in paragraph (a) or (b).
In determining objectives, strategies and policies to be followed by the APVMA, the Board must have regard to section 1A of the Code set out in the Schedule to the Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals Code Act 1994.
The Board has power to do all things necessary or convenient to be done for or in connection with the performance of its functions.
