Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals Code Act 1994

Renewal of the registration of a chemical product takes place when the APVMA enters in the Register a statement that the registration has been renewed and the date on which the registration (as renewed) ends.

The date the registration (as renewed) ends must:

be the last day of a calendar month not less than 12 months and not more than 7 years after the renewal takes place; and

be worked out in accordance with the method prescribed by the regulations.

However, if the regulations do not prescribe a method for the purposes of paragraph (2)(b), the date the registration (as renewed) ends must be the next 30 June after the renewal takes place.
