181 Prescribed airspace

(1)

For the purposes of this Part, a prescribed airspace is an airspace specified in, or ascertained in accordance with, the regulations, where it is in the interests of the safety, efficiency or regularity of existing or future air transport operations into or out of an airport for the airspace to be protected under this Part.

(2)

Regulations made for the purposes of subsection (1) may make provision for or in relation to a matter by applying, adopting or incorporating (with or without modification) any matter contained in the Aeronautical Information Publication as in force or existing from time to time.

(3)

A reference in this section to the Aeronautical Information Publication is a reference to the Aeronautical Information Publication published by Airservices Australia in accordance with the Air Services Regulations.
