9 Oath or Affirmation of Allegiance
(1)
A member shall, before taking his or her seat, make and subscribe an oath or affirmation in accordance with the form in Schedule 1.
(2)
The oath or affirmation shall be made before the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Australian Capital Territory or some person authorised by the Chief Justice.
(3)
This section has effect subject to any enactment.
