42 Cancellation of temporary certified emission reductions or long‑term certified emission reductions
Scope
(1)
This section applies if:
(a)
a person is the holder of a Registry account in which there is an entry for a temporary certified emission reduction or a long‑term certified emission reduction; and
(b)
the temporary certified emission reduction or long‑term certified emission reduction expires.
Transfer to mandatory cancellation account
(2)
The Regulator must, in accordance with the regulations, transfer the temporary certified emission reduction or long‑term certified emission reduction to a mandatory cancellation account.
