62 Copies of seized things to be provided
This section applies if:
an investigation warrant is being executed in relation to an investigation area; and
an inspector seizes one or more of the following from the investigation area under this Division:
a document, film, computer file or other thing that can be readily copied;
a storage device, the information in which can be readily copied.
A relevant person in relation to the investigation area may request the inspector to give a copy of the thing or the information to the person.
The inspector must comply with the request as soon as practicable after the seizure.
However, the inspector is not required to comply with the request if possession of the document, film, computer file, thing or information by the relevant person in relation to the investigation area could constitute an offence against a law of the Commonwealth.
