66 Disposal of things seized
(1)
An inspector may dispose of a thing seized under this Division if:
(a)
the inspector has taken reasonable steps to return the thing to a person; and
(b)
either:
(i)
the inspector has been unable to locate the person; or
(ii)
the inspector has contacted the person but the person has refused to take possession of the thing or has not taken possession of it within 3 months after the contact was made.
(2)
The inspector may dispose of the thing in such manner as the inspector thinks appropriate.
