8A Prohibition on storage and disposal of spent nuclear fuel that is not from an Australian submarine
(1)
Nothing in this Act is to be taken to authorise the following:
(a)
the storage in Australia of spent nuclear fuel that is not from an Australian submarine;
(b)
the disposal in Australia of spent nuclear fuel that is not from an Australian submarine.
(2)
The Regulator must not issue a licence in respect of an activity to which subsection (1) applies.
