Operation of State and Territory laws

In force

If a law of a State or Territory, or one or more provisions of such a law, is prescribed by the regulations, that law or provision does not apply in relation to the following:

(a)

an activity of a controlled person or a permitted person in relation to a controlled apparatus or a controlled material;

(b)

an activity of a controlled person or a permitted person in relation to a controlled facility.

For limits on the circumstances in which the provisions of this Act apply to Commonwealth contractors and permitted persons, see sections 11 and 11A.
