Delegation by Commission

54 Delegation by Commission

(1)

The Commission may, by resolution, delegate to:

(a)

a member of the Commission;

(b)

a committee established under section 22;

(c)

the Executive Director;

(d)

the Director; or

(e)

a person employed under section 41;

all or any of the Commission’s powers under this Act, other than the Commission’s powers under sections 22, 23, 25, 26 and 39 and subsections 28(1), 29(1) and 30(1) (including the Commission’s powers under section 39 as that section applies by virtue of section 40).

(2)

The delegate is, in the exercise of a power so delegated, subject to any directions given by the Commission.
