43 Notices telling investors about proposed transfer of eligible tax file number information and inviting objections
.(1) The State Bank of South Australia or a designated subsidiary of the State Bank of South Australia may cause to be published in both:
a newspaper circulating generally throughout Australia; and
a newspaper circulating generally throughout South Australia;
a notice, in a form approved by the Commissioner, that:
states that the State Bank of South Australia or the designated subsidiary, as the case may be, proposes to disclose specified kinds of eligible tax file number information to Bank of South Australia Limited; and
states that an investor concerned may give the State Bank of South Australia or the designated subsidiary, as the case requires, a written objection within 14 days after the publication of the notice; and
states that if an investor lodges such an objection, the information will not be disclosed to Bank of South Australia Limited; and
contains such additional information as is required by the form.
Notices under subsection (1) that relate to the same proposal must be published on the same day.
