Division 4Establishment, functions and powers of the Board
63 Independence
Subject to this Act and to other laws of the Commonwealth, the Cyber Incident Review Board:
(a)
has complete discretion in the performance of the Board’s functions and the exercise of the Board’s powers; and
(b)
is not subject to direction by any person in relation to the performance or exercise of those functions or powers.
Note:
The Minister must approve the terms of reference for a review to be undertaken by the Board: see subsection 46(2).
