Export Control Act 2020

is able:

to float or to be floated; and

to move, or to be moved, as an entity from one place to another; and

is, or is to be, used wholly or principally in:

exploring or exploiting natural resources (such as fish or minerals) with equipment on, or forming part of, the structure; or

operations or activities associated with, or incidental to, activities of the kind referred to in subparagraph (i) of this paragraph; and

either:

is attached to, or resting on, the seabed; or

is attached semipermanently or permanently to a structure that is attached to, or resting on, the seabed.

An installation is a vessel for the purposes of this Act (see paragraph (b) of the definition of vessel in section 12).
