224 Application for export permit
(1)
A person may apply to the Secretary for an export permit for a kind of prescribed goods.
(2)
An application:
(a)
may relate to more than one kind of prescribed goods; and
(b)
may, but is not required to, specify one or more places to which the goods are to be exported.
Note 1:
The export of a consignment of a kind of prescribed goods may be prohibited unless the exporter holds an export permit that authorises the export of the goods (see section 29 and rules made for the purposes of that section).
Note 2:
Section 239 sets out requirements for applications.
