Standing disclosure of remuneration
293BB Standing disclosure of remuneration
The disclosure is in accordance with this section if:
remuneration is to be paid to the officer, under a contract or other arrangement, on a regular basis during the financial year; and
the officer gives to the members of the committee of management of the organisation or branch, as the case may be, standing notice of the amounts of remuneration that the officer expects to be paid during the financial year; and
the requirements set out in subsections (2) to (5) are met.
The standing notice must be given at any time before, or as soon as practicable after, the first payment is made to the officer.
If, during the financial year, an amount of remuneration paid to the officer under the contract or arrangement exceeds the amount notified in the standing notice, the officer must, as soon as practicable, notify the committee of management of the organisation or branch, as the case may be, of the excess.
If, at the end of the financial year, the total amount (the final total) of remuneration paid to the officer under the contract or arrangement is more, or less, than the total amount notified under paragraph (2)(b), the officer must, as soon as practicable after the end of the financial year, notify the committee of management of the organisation or branch, as the case may be, of the final total.
Notice under this section must be given in writing.
