Interaction of section 293C and 293D with other laws

In force

Sections 293C and 293D have effect in addition to, and not in derogation of:

(a)

any general law rule about conflicts of interest; and

(b)

any provision in an organisation’s or branch’s rules that restricts an officer or employee from having a material personal interest in a matter involving duties or interests that conflict with their duties or interests as an officer of the organisation or branch.
