16 Reports to be given to APRA or ASIC
Proposed reports
Before giving a report mentioned in section 12 to the Minister, the Authority must give a copy of the proposed report to the following:
if the proposed report relates to APRA—APRA;
if the proposed report relates to ASIC—ASIC.
If the recipient of the proposed report gives written comments to the Authority, the Authority must consider the comments before giving the final report to the Minister.
Final reports
If the Authority gives a report mentioned in section 12 to the Minister, the Authority must give a copy to the following:
if the report relates to APRA—APRA;
if the report relates to ASIC—ASIC.
The Authority must not publish a report mentioned in section 12 unless the report has been tabled in a House of the Parliament or published by the Minister.
