34 Meetings of Authority
The Chair must convene such meetings of the Authority as are, in the Chair’s opinion, necessary for the efficient performance of the Authority’s functions and exercise of the Authority’s powers.
Section 33B of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901 contains information about the ways in which members may participate in meetings.
Subject to subsection (4) and section 35, the Authority may operate in the way it determines.
A determination under subsection (2) must be made by a majority of members at a meeting of the Authority at which the Chair has a deliberative vote and, in the event of an equality of votes, a casting vote.
The Chair must ensure that minutes of meetings are kept.
