57 Which procedure is appropriate?

The Authority must adopt the general procedure in considering a proposal for the development of a food regulatory measure or the variation of a food regulatory measure, unless:

(a)

the proposal is one to which Subdivision E applies (proposal for a minor variation of a food regulatory measure); or

(b)

the proposal is one to which Subdivision F applies (proposal for the development of a new food regulatory measure, or a major variation of a food regulatory measure); or

(c)

the proposal is one to which Subdivision G applies (proposal for a high level health claims variation); or

(e)

the proposal is declared to be an urgent proposal for the purposes of this Part under section 95.
