The Authority must give public notice of the matters mentioned in subsection (3).

The Authority must also give notice of the matters mentioned in subsection (3) to:

the High Level Health Claims Committee established for the purpose of making recommendations on the proposal, or proposals of that kind; and

the Food Regulation Standing Committee.

The notice must:

state that the Authority proposes to make a high level health claims variation; and

give a summary of the proposal; and

identify the procedure that the Authority will adopt in considering the proposal; and

indicate when the Authority proposes to undertake the key steps in that procedure.
