GEMS Regulator may vary suspension notice
53 GEMS Regulator may vary suspension notice
The GEMS Regulator may, if the GEMS Regulator considers it appropriate in the circumstances, vary the suspension notice to do either or both of the following:
specify a different day on which the suspension ceases to be in force;
impose different conditions on the suspension.
The GEMS Regulator must give the registrant a copy of the suspension notice as varied under subsection (1).
The registrant is taken to have been given a notice under this Act if the notice is given to a contact person for the registration (see section 68).
Subsection (1) does not limit the application of subsection 33(3) of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901 in relation to a suspension notice.
