106ZP Engagement of consultants
(1)
The Director may engage as consultants, persons who are suitably qualified, to assist the Director in the performance of the functions or duties, or the exercise of the powers of the Director.
(2)
Subject to subsection (3), consultants may be engaged on such terms and conditions as the Director determines.
(3)
Terms and conditions determined by the Director must be consistent with guidelines (if any) that have been made by the Minister.
(4)
The Minister may make guidelines setting out the terms and conditions upon which consultants may be engaged under this section.
