83A Review of the operation of this Act
The Minister must cause an independent review to be conducted of the operation of this Act during the 5‑year period starting on the commencement of the Illegal Logging Prohibition Amendment (Strengthening Measures to Prevent Illegal Timber Trade) Act 2024.
The persons conducting the review must give the Minister a written report of the review within 9 months after the end of the 5‑year period.
The Minister must cause a copy of the report of the review to be tabled in each House of the Parliament within 15 sitting days of that House after the report is given to the Minister.
