157 Purposes of the Industrial Chemicals Special Account
The purposes of the Industrial Chemicals Special Account are as follows:
to make payments to further the objects of this Act;
paying or discharging the costs, expenses and other obligations incurred by the Commonwealth in the performance of the Executive Director’s functions;
to make payments to enable the Commonwealth to participate in:
the international harmonisation of regulatory controls or standards on industrial chemicals and other related activities; and
the development of international agreements and arrangements in relation to industrial chemicals;
paying any remuneration and allowances payable to any person engaged under this Act.
