26 Conduct of Inspector
The Inspector must, in performing functions or exercising powers under this Act:
behave honestly and with integrity; and
act with care and diligence; and
treat everyone with respect and courtesy, and without harassment; and
disclose to the Minister, and take reasonable steps to avoid, any conflict of interest (real or apparent); and
not make improper use of:
inside information; or
his or her status or powers;
in order to gain, or seek to gain, a benefit or advantage for himself or herself, or for any other person; and
while performing functions or exercising powers overseas, at all times behave in a way that upholds the good reputation of Australia.
