Insurance Contracts Act 1984

Subject to subsection (2), this Act does not apply to or in relation to a contract of insurance that was entered into before the date of commencement of this Act.

The application of sections 32, 54 and 56 extends to and in relation to a superannuation contract (other than an individual superannuation contract) that was entered into before the date of commencement of this Act in so far as a person who becomes, on or after that date, a member of the relevant superannuation or retirement scheme is concerned.
