21 Model Law covers the field
(1)
If the Model Law applies to an arbitration, the law of a State or Territory relating to arbitration does not apply to that arbitration.
(2)
Subsection (1) applies to an arbitration commenced on or after the commencement of this subsection, whether the arbitration agreement giving rise to the arbitration was made before, on or after 6 July 2010.
Note:
The provision that is now subsection (1) commenced on 6 July 2010.
