38 Variation of the National Register

(1)

The Director‑General of the CDC must vary the National Register to take account of:

(a)

decisions made by the Director‑General under section 47, 49, 52 or 55A relating to the registration of an entity; and

(b)

any disposal of the entire holdings of a security‑sensitive biological agent that is included on the National Register in relation to a registered entity and a facility; and

(c)

any loss or theft of a security‑sensitive biological agent that is included on the National Register in relation to a registered entity and a facility.

(2)

The Director‑General of the CDC may vary the particulars included in the National Register to correct an inaccuracy.
