143 Compliance with industry codes
If:
a person is a participant in a particular section of the online industry; and
the Commissioner is satisfied that the person has contravened, or is contravening, an industry code that:
is registered under this Division; and
applies to participants in that section of the industry;
the Commissioner may, by written notice given to the person, direct the person to comply with the industry code.
A person must comply with a direction under subsection (1).
Civil penalty: 30,000 penalty units.
Subsection 93(2) of the Regulatory Powers (Standard Provisions) Act 2014 does not apply in relation to a contravention of subsection (2) of this section.
