123 Minister may request the establishment of a Selection Committee
The Minister must, for the purposes of:
appointing the nominated directors of an R&D Corporation; or
filling a vacancy caused by the resignation of, or the termination of the appointment of, any such director;
give a written notice to the Presiding Member of the Selection Committee for that R&D Corporation:
if there is no Selection Committee for the R&D Corporation—requesting the Presiding Member to establish the Selection Committee; and
specifying the period within which the Selection Committee must nominate persons, or a person, for appointment.
If the Minister believes on reasonable grounds that a vacancy of a kind referred to in subsection (1) is about to arise, the Minister may give a notice under subsection (1) before the vacancy arises.
