61 Minimum pension
(1)
The minimum amount of pension payable to a contributor upon retirement is, except where this Act requires his pension to be actuarially determined, two units.
(2)
The minimum amount of pension payable to the widow of a contributor or pensioner (not being pension in respect of a child) is:
(a)
subject to paragraph (b)—one and one‑quarter units; or
(b)
in the case of a widow whose husband elected that section 26 should not apply to him—one unit.
(3)
This section does not apply to a pension that has been reduced under section 93DD.
