484H Removal of entries from the SMS Sender ID Register
(1)
The ACMA may remove an entry from the SMS Sender ID Register if the ACMA is satisfied that:
(a)
the sender identification covered by the entry is offensive or misleading or deceptive; or
(b)
the sender identification covered by the entry is a spoofing sender identification; or
(c)
it would be appropriate in all the circumstances to remove the entry.
(2)
The ACMA is not required to observe any requirements of the natural justice hearing rule in exercising the power under subsection (1).
(3)
Subsection (1) does not limit a determination made under subsection 484L(4) about the matter mentioned in paragraph 484L(4)(c).
