583 Penalties for certain continuing offences
(1)
This section applies if an offence against this Act is a continuing offence (whether under this Act or because of section 4K of the Crimes Act 1914).
(2)
The maximum penalty for each day that the offence continues is 10% of the maximum penalty that could be imposed in respect of the principal offence.
(3)
In this section:
this Act includes the Telecommunications (Consumer Protection and Service Standards) Act 1999 and regulations under that Act.
