(1)
The chair must preside at a committee meeting or nominate a member of the committee to preside at the meeting.
(2)
If the chair is temporarily absent from a meeting, the member chosen by the members present must preside at the meeting.
(3)
A member chosen to preside under subregulation (2) may exercise the powers and functions of the chair.
