62 New Zealand courts and tribunals may administer oath or affirmation in Australia
(1)
A New Zealand court or tribunal may, for the purpose of obtaining the testimony of a person in Australia by remote appearance medium, administer an oath or affirmation in accordance with the practice and procedure of the court or tribunal.
(2)
Evidence given by a person on oath or affirmation so administered is, for the purposes of section 35 of the Crimes Act 1914, testimony given in a federal judicial proceeding.
