6 Application fees—the Act, s 18(2)(d)
The prescribed fee to accompany an application for accreditation as a research establishment is to be determined as follows by the number of holders or proposed holders of animal research authorities—
if the number is less than 10—$350,
if the number is 10 or more but not more than 75—$700,
if the number is more than 75—$2,000.
For the purposes of the Act, section 62(2)(d), a corporation is exempt from the operation of the Act, section 18(2)(d) and therefore from payment of the prescribed fee, if—
the corporation is a corporation referred to in section 5(f), or
the corporation is not a corporation referred to in section 5(f), but the accreditation is only for the purpose of allowing animal research to be carried out in schools.
