23 Voluntary surrender or suspension of registration
A registered certifier may apply to the Secretary for a cancellation or suspension of registration.
An application must—
be in a form approved by the Secretary, and
include or be accompanied by any information or evidence required by the Secretary to assess the application.
The regulations may provide for a fee to be paid for an application for the cancellation or suspension of registration.
The Secretary may require the fee to accompany the application.
A reference in this section to an application for suspension of registration is taken to include a reference to an application to extend, cancel or vary a suspension imposed under this section.
