(1)
For the Act, section 83C(3), a non-government school does not operate for profit because—
(a)
depreciated or redundant equipment of the school is donated to another school, a charity or a local council, or
(b)
the school has made a payment to cover the reasonable costs, including reasonable transportation costs associated with the donated equipment.
(2)
In this clause—
depreciated or redundant equipment means equipment that is—
(a)
completely or substantially depreciated, or
(b)
no longer required for school purposes.
donation includes sale at below reasonable market value.
