6E Giving of information when e-micromobility vehicles supplied
This clause applies to a supplier who—
sells, exchanges, leases or hires an e-micromobility vehicle to a consumer, or
enters a hire-purchase agreement with a consumer for an e-micromobility vehicle.
The supplier must give the consumer the e-micromobility vehicle information in relation to the vehicle supplied.
The e-micromobility vehicle information must be given—
when the vehicle is supplied to the consumer by sale, exchange, lease, hire or hire-purchase, and
in a reasonable way that clearly conveys the information to the consumer.
Examples of how information may be conveyed—
physical or electronic manuals or safety booklets accompanying the vehicle
