Interference with gas meters

Current

A person must not alter or otherwise interfere with a meter that is connected to a network operator’s distribution pipeline or distribution system unless authorised to do so by the network operator.

Maximum penalty—

(a)

for a corporation—5,000 penalty units, or

(b)

for an individual—1,000 penalty units.
