34L Notification of use of force or urgent entry
(1)
An authorised officer must promptly advise the Authority or the ETNO if the authorised officer—
(a)
uses force for the purpose of gaining entry to premises, or
(b)
enters premises in an emergency without giving written notice to the owner or occupier of the premises.
(2)
Following entry under subsection (1), the Authority or the ETNO must give notice of the entry to the person who appears to the Authority or the ETNO to be appropriate in the circumstances.
