34 Fixed term contracts
A fixed term contract in force, immediately before the relevant commencement, between a person and a former institution (being a contract under which the person performed services for that institution:
(a)
shall be taken, for the remainder of its term, to be a contract in the same terms between the person and the corresponding institution, under which the corresponding institution assumes the rights and obligations of the former institution, and
(b)
may be arbitrated, terminated or renewed in any manner provided by the contract.
