59 Continuity of service
(1)
Parental leave does not break an employee’s continuity of service, but is not to be taken into account in calculating an employee’s period of service for any purpose.
(2)
However, parental leave counts as service for any purpose authorised by law or by any industrial instrument or contract of employment.
