259 Term of permit
Unless sooner cancelled, a permit remains in force for such period not exceeding—
(a)
except as provided by paragraph (b), 12 months from the date it is granted, or
(b)
in the case of a permit under section 254, 28 days from the date it is granted,
as is specified in the permit.
