2.2 Exception from compulsory insurance
This Division does not apply to a motor vehicle that is used on a road if—
(a)
the motor vehicle may lawfully be used on the road although not registered, or
(b)
the motor vehicle is a trailer, or
(c)
the motor vehicle is a vehicle of a kind, and is used in the circumstances (if any), prescribed by the regulations.
