7.14 Cherrywood Village
The objectives of this clause are as follows—
to allow development for the purpose of health services facilities and seniors housing on the land to which this clause applies,
to protect and enhance the biodiversity values of that land by encouraging the conservation and rehabilitation of native flora and fauna.
This clause applies to land identified as “Cherrywood Village” on the Clause Application Map.
Despite any other provision of this Plan, development consent may be granted to development on land in Zone RU4 Primary Production Small Lots that is part of the land to which this clause applies for the purpose of—
health services facilities and seniors housing, and
the following development, if that development is ancillary to and supports the main use of the land for health services facilities and seniors housing—
centre-based child care facilities,
food and drink premises,
neighbourhood shops,
hotel or motel accommodation.
Development consent must not be granted to development on the land to which this clause applies unless a vegetation management plan has been prepared to the satisfaction of the consent authority for the ongoing management of native flora and fauna on that part of the land to which this clause applies that is in Zone C2 Environmental Conservation and on that part of the land to which this clause applies that is identified as “Natural Resources Sensitive Land” on the Natural Resources Sensitivity Land Map.
In this clause—
vegetation management plan means a plan that specifies a program of action for the management of land, its ecosystems and native vegetation.
